Question/Suggestion regarding forum search results

I regularly run searches for the title of my main project, and I often get hits on threads with 100+ pages of posts. The problem is that clicking on those threads only shows me the first page on which my search parameters appear. Since I'm sure that there are other mentions of the mod later in the thread, I'd like to see a way to jump from hit to hit, rather than just being shown the first instance of them.

Is there a way to do this built into the forums that I'm not aware of? If not, what are the odds that such a feature might be implemented at some point in the future?

Did you try searching 'as posts' instead of 'as topics'? .. You'll get hits that have the name in the title even if they don't have the name in the post unfortunately, but it's better than just seeing threads.

No, I didn't know that could be done. I'll have to look more closely next time. Thanks, Nakakita!

EDIT: Where does that option appear? I can't see it anywhere.

  • 1 month later...

I have a problem searching for mods when I am logged in . the pages indicators display but the graphics don't .

When I am not logged in and do a search it seems to work correctly ????????

Sounds familiar:

I suggest checking your preferences as discussed over there.
