ThinkingCap
I recently found these stunning pictures, and was hoping someone could please help me with creating this environment for Skyrim. My computer is a beast. However I am very new at modding. So I take things cautiously, though most of this language is alien to me, I am slowly learning. I installed Matso's ENB and it had quite a lot of different settings to choose from. Just don't know what to pick! One of the big things I noticed was it didn't have the 9.dll Is this needed? Which one should I use? Please help me out, I will be forever grateful! ThinkingCap, never leave home without it.
LargeStyle
According to Matsos mod description page, the mod is based on ENB 0.119. You need to download the original ENB 0.119 first from the official website: ENB v0.119 You will notice that this mod is supplied in its 2 different versions - a wrapper and injector version. Long story short, if you copy the wrapper files into Skyrims main directory the ENB will automatically startup when Skyrim itself launches. If you use the injector version then you'll need to run the ENBInjector.exe before starting Skyrim. Both versions result in the same visuals, so it's not really important which one you use. Ultimately, copy the standard ENB v0.119 files into Skyrims main directory, then copy Matsos ENB files into the same directory and overwrite any files when prompted. As for which version of Matsos ENB to chose, that's obviously a matter of personal preference, so perhaps just try each one and see which one you like the most! For the standard experience, just copy the files within the "Jump Start" folder into Skyrims main directory. If you want your game to look different then Matso has provided many alternative files, which you can obviously just use instead of the default file(s), Edited November 9, 2012 by LargeStyle
