zemaria
hey guys, I'm quite the noob with blender, but I did some stuff that actually worked. this however is driving me nuts.so what I want to do is an upperbody or a lowerbody chainmain. the problem is, the upperbody part just keep floating and doesn't move.I have some pictures to show. step by step: -here is the armor in blender (I picked any armor just to show the problem): http://i.imgur.com/a5phE.png-the selected mesh is the upperbody that I am talking about (I scaled only a little bit to prevent clipping): http://i.imgur.com/vRqIS.png-the skeleton and the weight were applied here: http://i.imgur.com/QK40d.png-the export settings: http://i.imgur.com/04j4q.png-the armor on nifskope with stuff like textures, dismember and all that applied: http://i.imgur.com/lkk9S.png-end result: http://i.imgur.com/ptX6q.jpg (look... she's even sad) I used this tutorial: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Skyrim._Part_1 (I used the "duplicate body part" tip to make the chainmail in the pictures) I can't see what I'm doing wrong. I tried to separete the meshes, used different ways to apply the weight (I have yet to try "painting the weight", but this sounds a little too hard for me right now), used different skeletons, heck I have even used the UNP body of this armor: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12070 (the upperbody is a separeted mesh), but nothing seems to work. all my attempts end with this piece floating.do you guys have any ideia of what I'm doing wrong?I want to try using the 3d max, but I have zero experience with that program so I would like to stick with blender for now if possible.
