mysteriousman121
Currently you will always take 20% so long as your DT exceeds Dam, I would like this to be different based on the armor type(light, medium, heavy) worn.So that the kind of armor I am wearing becomes more relevant when I am fighting enemies with rather low dam(like automatic weapons, lasers etc), instead of just going for light armor for the better movement speed and available perks I know that there are mods out there that change the bleed through DT, but all of the ones I could find do so globally, regardless of the type of armor worn and I could mod this in myself by adjusting fMinDamMultiplier in Geck.I do not however know how I would apply this on a per armor type level, or if that(or something that achieves the same result) is even possible so any help would be appreciated. PS. I haven't fully decided yet on what values I would use, but if it is possible my idea is something like: light 20%, medium 15% and heavy 10% bleed through respectively. devinpatterson
Poked around a bit and I didn't see anything in re: to adjusting individual minimum dt damage (versus the global value). The only suggestion I have to look into, is a long shot. There is conflicting info re: where damage resistance (DR) is in the damage formula, this page seems to indicate it is applied after DT, which means you could add a 50% DR to armor to reduce the minimum damage to half. But at least two issues I see are problematic. 1. I think more sources indicate DR is applied before DT and 2. The DR would reduce damage that is above the minimum damage from DT, increasing the power dynamics of the game armor. Maybe someone else has some insight? Radioactivelad
The JIP plugin includes a patch that "modifies the damage formula" so that DR applies after DT, so I would assume it is indeed backwards in the vanilla game. The most noteworthy and balanced mod that adds DR to (medium and heavy) armor imo is Sawyer mod, but that's not something you can casually drop in to an already-in-progress game. (Though I suppose it would be easy enough to make it its own mod.)

I feel incredibly stupid now. That being said with some overall changing on how I intend to go about scaling things, it should still be worthwhile and not too much work to change.
