It's been going on since christmas? what the f... that's 7 days, it seems to me they have no real intention to fix the issue

It's not a Conspiracy, people go on holiday and Vacation around X-mess and New Years you know

You can work from home nowadays, it's not that hard. they shouldn't sell premium accounts if the site does not work. Every Premium purchased around that time should either get a few extra free days or be refunded, otherwise this is a massive scam

Paraphrasing Mark Twain:

"It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."

Hopefully they get it all sorted out soon. I have one mod I want to install for Fallout 4 before I do a certain quest, and then I want to start installing all my mods for Skyrim since I can't seem to transfer them from my old PC. But, so far every time I try I just get error messages.

Until the server load is eased, you can download the files locally just fine, and then drop them into Vortex. For whatever reason, the errors only occur when downloading directly to Vortex.

The error occurs on mod manager download because almost everyone uses that option and shuns manual download. Throughout this whole holiday period of download induced weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth I've had no problems downloading manually.

I'm having this same error, it's very irritating. I'm halfway through downloading a set of mods and I don't want to start playing until they are all installed, so now I have to wait for vortex to get its act together.

What do we have to do to make you understand it has nothing to do with Vortex but with the Nexus servers getting overloaded or being particularly slow because updates are being installed to the site. I'm primarily using NMM for mods and I have the same issues.

But Manual Downloading works perfectly fine for me. Vortex just fails. That does seem like a server side issue.

I've seen some reports that NMM and MO2 are having the same problem - mod manager download fails but manual download works. If that's the case, then the problem is a server side issue.

At the risk of seriously repeating myself, use manual download when mod manager download is a problem. Just now I manually downloaded an 884 MB file for Fallout 4. My download speed averaged about 10.3 MB/Sec, which is almost the max for the IP service plan I'm using and matches my Steam download speeds.
