Help with determining animation files for aiming, shooting anim, and their crouch var.

I am thinking about going back to use Asurah's reanims pack but i dont like the aiming posture because i have pretty big and bulky guns which are mostly LMGs from a mod.

 

The aiming posture in Asurah's is a bit too "forwarded" as opposed to WAR's and Hitman's. I prefer the aiming position from WAR and Hitman's because it stops my guy getting his whole face merged with my lmgs in 3rd person.

 

Can anyone help me replace firing anims, aiming anims, and crouch aim anims for all types of weapons? I know this is a noob question but hey, im more of a player than a modder.

I can tell you some basics:

 

The files you're looking for are in Meshes -> Character. _male is third-person animations.

 

All the animations have a distinct prefix that'll tell you what it's used for.

 

1hp is pistols, 2hr is Rifle Grip weapons (Hunting Rifle, Cowboy Repeater), 2HA are pistol grip rifles. (LMG, Assault Carbine)

 

If the file has an IS, that means its used when you hold the Aim button.

 

It's just a matter of replacing those files with the ones from the mod you desire. Be thorough, you don't want mixmatched attack animations.
