kili202 Posted November 16, 2012 Share Posted November 16, 2012 speaking of which, i was looking to get this mod and stumbled across this incident that has happened to iliana. she requested to be banned from the nexus :ohdear: . from what i gather she has been harrassed by this person called dukeofspook but does ayone have any information? maybe i am looking into things too much but i want to find out why such a good mod creator felt the need to do that. Mod authors pull their mods, and request to be banned for all sorts of reasons. I have no idea why iliana requested to be banned, nor why she pulled the mod, but I do know that The Deserts Of Anequina has a history of being pulled, restored and pulled again. Who knows? Iliana knows. You will not get the truth from rumours and heresay. yeah, she made one of my favorite mods and it is just a shame to see her finally go for good... i guess it is not my buisness but... i can't help from being sad somehow Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm not going to get into a discussion on the 'why's, because I (like 99.9 percent of people) don't have the facts, but suffice to say that iliana has quoted the Nexus (and at least one other site) as a no-go area for The Deserts of Anequina, while still uploading it elsewhere -- nothing wrong with that; it's her mod. When I went to find good mods for this title, Elsweyr Deserts of Anequina was one of the top rated mods I found info about. It seems however that some huge drama took place between the mod author and a couple of the major file share sites and now, the mod simply doesn't exist for download anymore. I wish people would take down their 'top rated mods' info when a mod utterly disappears like that so newcomers to a game community don't spend time looking for something that simply isn't available anymore.
