Deleted67195711User
On https://forums.nexusmods.com/ I minimize some of the forums, as they hold no interest to me for any of several reasons. Now, you may be asking, "What is a minimized forum"? Hover your cursor over the forum title line for say "Nexus Mod Manager - NO LONGER SUPPORTED". A black box will appear to the right of the title with a big dash. Click that dash, and the forum will minimize. Now to my issue. Minimized forums used to stay minimized across sessions, but no longer.
Pickysaurus
Pretty sure this is stored in a cookie on your local machine (and has been for as long as I can recall) - so it won't persist across devices or in cases when you clear your cookies. Deleted67195711User
I use one device, and do not clear cookies. This not remembering of minimized forums only began occurring following the mandated password change.
Pickysaurus
Interesting, I'll see if I can reproduce it. Perhaps when we changed the way your session it inadvertently changed something there. How do you "reset" it? By closing the browser? Opening a new tab? Reloading the page?
Deleted67195711User
It resets on a page reload through the browser. Closing the browser and reopening the browser and linking to the forums again has it reset. Just about anything that refreshes the forums home screen will reset the minimized forums. Pickysaurus
I have been able to replicate the problem, I'll add it to the task list for investigation. It may take a while before it gets looked at as there is a lot of higher priority tasks to complete. Thanks for the report.
Deleted67195711User
No worries. It's not a show stopper, or anything near one.
