Commander why don't you train some for bomb squads

Anyone of you got through a bomb disposal scene on the first second or third run?

I have been through a Bomb Disposal 3 times. The last time I saved the game before the team moved to get to it and played it through over and over and each time while members of the squad were next to the bomb, and I had all four there, they were told, "Too Late! Run!"

What level of the gameplay does Easy mean. Maybe Easy for a trained tactical commander who plays it while he/she sits in her office waiting to hear back from the team what their results were. He/she then says to the team when they get back, "Before you go off to play I want your reports on my desk!"

I suspect "Easy" is just there so newbs will think the game play is.

BOOM!

I'm slightly disappointed, I clicked expecting to see the suggestion of strapping explosives to rookies and pushing them towards the alien menace.

If you're wondering there Pagafyr, the main bomb has to be clicked on like the power nodes and requires a free action to do so. Sprinting up to the bomb will not allow you an action to click on it.

I don't think that's true, actually. The power nodes definitely do not require a free action to deactivate, only an adjacent soldier that you must reselect in order to deactivate. Also you cannot do this with your last active soldier, since your turn will end as soon as that soldier expends his moves, pre-empting your opportunity to reselect. I can't verify that this is also true for the bomb itself, but I'm fairly certain that this is the case.

You just need to be right next to it and click it. If you are stationed diagonally to it, you cant disarm it. Must stand right beside it.

Cheers for filing out the rest, missed a couple of points about that. The other consideration is pc vs console unit selection. I read somewhere that on pc you can left click on a soldier that has already moved, but as consoles use a next/prev selection system they can't select a soldier that has already moved.
