tony007 Posted November 18, 2008 Share Posted November 18, 2008 So how do i change the stats on any gun i want to? I just can't wait for the construction set anymore. Bethesta's not gonna release it soon and weapons are too stupid to have fun with. First of all, why the hell would a scoped pistol have more damage and firing speed than the best rifle in the game (I think it's the Linconl Repeater. It's the last one on the list on www.fallout.wikia.com). Anyway, the weapons are weak. Accuracy is hellishly REDICULOUS. Without the accuracy mod for rifles, i don't why they would put rifles in the game in the first place. Rifles in this game is like closing your eyes and spinning your gun in a circle while you shoot a target 20 meters away. Please, are there any easy ways of fixing weapon stats? I'd play this game like forever if i had that CS, that gem, that priceless software! Oh goodness, without the CS i feel nausea playing the game and even worse when using the guns. btw, what's DNAM? zmily Posted November 20, 2008 Share Posted November 20, 2008 i can try to help.. i have done some adjusting to some weapons. i'm not an experienced modder but i got some results :)and excuse my english.. i'm from norway, sooo,, yeah.. well.. what i did was to download a weapon mod so i got a .esp file for the valhalla and a deagle..then i used the plugin editor in fomm to open the file and look at the DNAM list thingy.. (it's in the bottom category if u click the little +box) there were minimum and maximum spread.. fov (zoom factor), reload time's and trigger delay. and many more useful parameters for me to adjust :)and the DATA list thingy is also useful, there u can adjust the mag size and damage factor, bottle cap value and max "health" of the weapon.. u can probably do lots more.. but as said. i'm not an experienced modder so i just sat down and tinkerd with it, and got it rigth.. kinda.. me thinks :P i hope this helps a little atleast.. oh and remember to use , and not . if u put something to eg 0,1 .. i did it with . and got something like "invalid parameter" or something Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
