Just thought you guys should know, SWTOR F2P is going to be released on 11/15/12 a few days from now.

The Old Republic was the first game I shelled out money on a collector's edition. Biggest disappointment ever. I hope the F2P gig fails even harder than the subscriber model to hopefully teach EA (another) lesson not to rush these kinds of AAA games. Edited by leetgamer

Maybe LA will let Sony bring SWG back........ I doubt it.

I thought I would be getting cartel coins since ya know I had been subscribed for a month or two BUT nooooooooo... You have to be currently subscribed. Wtf. And yeah the F2P limits are stupid.

Wow, the F2P limitations are terrible, as can be expected from an EA game.

 

It's even worse than Turbine's notoriously rubbish F2P models.

That is quite true, they even placed an unlock for a basic UI function , that's just lame.

This is clearly a money grab by EAware, This has to be the worst F2P model iv'e seen in an MMO.
