Plugins tab infinite loading

Vortex only downloads it once per session (I think). But you might be able to download it manually and place it in the correct folder. I'd have to check with Tannin.

Doing that might help my loading issue. Or at least make LOOT work. Right now it doesn't do anything and just throws an error.

 

get your isp to figure out why you cannot be served by github. you're paying them for a service, if they cannot provide you with access to github, then they have a problem. you may want to look into another provider that can actually give you access to the internet without whatever restriction your isp is putting on github.

I literally can only get satellite internet here. I don't even have cell signal to tether. So it's either HughesNet or ViaSat.

Their customer support couldn't tell anything aside from that it just isn't compatible with satellite internet. Which makes zero sense.

 

Yup, I concur with you. That sounds so lame and as you so restricted, they have you somewhat over a barrel. That truly sucks.

Encountered the same problem with infinite loading on plugin tab. An hour, and counting....Seems stuck there. (Rebooted).

Just completed Blood on the Ice. Have a Hjerim house mod to enable plugin once quest was completed. Can't enable through Vortex.

It was working fine yesterday.

 

And sorry for my ignorance, but I have no idea what a "controlled folder access" is, nor where in windows defender to find that. Haven't changed any setting, etc.

 

Later edit: still "loading". But I can get around Vortex, because that plugin shows up on my load order once game is launched.

Im having same issues with Satilight internet. Why the hell do they need to use internet to get pluggins that are on my computer. it dos not make sense they are all ready there just give me the list so i can turn them on and off.
