KaminaDrill
Hi! Is there an option to recursively copy a record? Say, i have a spell that references a ME, i could manually copy both records into new mod and then change FormID ME reference to a new one. Is there a script that copies all referenced records as new records as well as fixes where references point so that new mod does not depend on the source. PeterMartyr
yeah you could do that, but that precisely the stuff you shouldn't be doing with xEdit, Me Myself and I would just boot up the Creation Kit to avoid errors that your gonna get. KaminaDrill
So how do i do that? In CK i only see duplicate option that just copies a record as new record in an active mod. How do i do deep copy?
KaminaDrill
ended up batch copying/overriding records manually in tes5edit
KaminaDrill
It turns out you cant correctly copy quests as records. as they lose their attached scripts
