Frustratedplayer
Greetings everybody,For the past week I have been searching for a way to fix my fallout 3. I have the infamous problem where it will crash when you try to start a new game. I have found many solution, but none of them have ever worked. What I have:-Fallout 3 (steam version) What I have tried:-downloading the d3d9.dll file and putting it in the fallout folder-Installing the 1.7 patch-editing the .ini ("bUseThread=1"...etc.)-Changing the cores being used-Changing the compatibility mode Basically some of these changes have done nothing. Other changes change the number of times the load counter lasts, but in the end it still crashes.I normally dont spend money on games (yeah, I'm cheap) so the fact that I bought a game and it doesn't work really pisses me offIf anyone knows of any other possible solutions, please let me know. I will be very gratefulThanks guys.
M48A5
What are your computer specifications? Did you edit the correct .ini? The one in the My Games file?
