veliv
Check your PMs ;) I got a custom reload animation working. And it doesn't replace anything.

Wreckless1
Second-on the 10mm Auto dilemma: my point was more that it's a useless cartrige for any kind of duty situation. It's like carrying a .50 AE handgun-if you need that much goddamn power, you're better off with an assault rifle or shotgun. If you're facing hostiles, a 9mm or a .45 center-mass will kill them just as dead as a 10mm with much less recoil/blast. Total derail there-whatever. Useless eh? That's a heck of a stretch. I carry an EAA Witness Compact in 10mm auto as my licensed concealed carry gun. Call me strange, but I don't find it any more difficult to control than .45 ACP with proper technique, its more powerful, and I get 12 rounds in the mag instead of the 8 rounds I'd have in the same gun chambered in .45 ACP. .50 AE is a couple orders of magnitude hotter than 10mm. 200grn bullet @ 1200fps is hot as hell, but a 325gr bullet @ 1500 is another whole level of beast. I got a custom reload animation working. And it doesn't replace anything. SWEET!!!! :D

This is the final derail, I swear-and Vash, I apologize for all the random poo me and wreck end up throwing into your thread :ermm: Back to the pointL the .50 AE was a joke since the only weapon that fires it is about as useful as a hammer-maybe you can crack them in the face when it jams on the first pull  As far as the 10mm stuff goes-here's the point. A 9mm will kill someone as dead as a .45 as dead as a 10mm. We're not talking about a prolonged shootout with heavily armored zombies/terrists/whatever. If you think you'll actually need mag capacity, why not carry a 9mm with 15 rounds? Neither of the 3 cartriges will penetrate high-level body armor, but if you're a private citizen, you shouldn't worry about that. There's also personal likes and dislikes-if you like it, who am I to say otherwise? As far as realistic expectations and pure rationality goes though, it's not very useful in any way aside from a nice collector piece. (I own a 8x68mm rifle, a PSL that I feed actual 7N1, and a single-shot .308 pistol, so It's not like i'm only for rational guns.)
starduks
say you have a psl that feeds actual 7n1 is retarded. thats was one of the most common surplus ammo's for 7.62x54. and if i have to draw down on someone, you better *ban* believe im putting at least half a mag in them before i stop. shoot to completely stop the threat. lostinmymind
Point was that a PSL is a knockoff POS that there's no need to feed match ammo for. :) But regardless. Oh, and no argument about the shoot to kill point. Center-mass until they stop moving. The point that I was making was that half a mag of 9mm/.40/.45 is the same, and there's no point to the argument that 10mm Auto is in any way better/more useful than any of the more common cartriges. (I live in NYC. What's concealed carry? :pinch: )
veliv
You did! Write a tutorial! This is revolutionary! Already written one, but I would like to go over it with Vash before making it public. Here is clip of Valhalla SMG in action: Nothing special in it to the untrained eye, but the modders here might notice that this uses the assualtrifle shooting animations and the combat shotgun reload animations. And the reload animation is modable, without changing the rest of Vanilla animations. So while this isn't a way to make a Kung fu mod, this is atleast a way to add some bullpup weapons in the game. Leon026
great stuff by the way. Love the FN FAL / L1A1 While I'm at it, figured I should also point out that in Fallout Tactics, a lot of modern weapons showed showed up : P-90, MP5, M-16. And to be honest, its quite possible for more 'military' vaults to have been utterly stockpiled and untouched, and thus resulting in fairly mind condition in their packing grease. And yea, like some people have said already, if the wasteland is a dusty *piehole* where the gun is the key to survival, learning how to shoot and taking care of your weapon is most likely more important than learning how to walk as a kid ;)
