Adonsa
Hi,Instructions for the mod, Celtic Music In Skyrim, recommend, For those who only want the Celtic Music playing without the vanilla tracks I recommend this mod: Kill The Orchestra SE. Kill The Orchestra SE completely removes the vanilla music or specific tracks which you don't want ingame. Upon clicking the link, this error was returned, Not foundThe mod you were looking for couldn't be found Any advice on where to find it or if there's a substitute mod? Thanks much !!! anjenthedog
You might find it at one of the other mod sites (maybe do a google and bing search on the title) , but when it's pulled here it's often because an author has pulled out of skyrim altogether. Adonsa
Hi zcul and anjenthedog,Thanks for replying. Search engine searches revealed other websites that had hosted the "Kill the Orchestra" Skyrim mod. Sadly, no success. The assimilation Lab website provides an excellent description of the mod but they point back here to the dead Nexusmods link for downloading.Same to a leading Japanese website.Ditto for the site Project websiteThe iguanadons.net came up has having hosted it in the past, but their domain is dead now. I tried the Celtic Music in Skyrim mod anyway, and it mixed it's music with the Skyrim music producing undesirable results. And so, the question becomes how other music replacement developers can cause their music to play without combining theirs with Skyrim music.,or does the demise of Kill the Orchestra mean the end of Skyrim SE music substitution? Again, I appreciate your replies.Adonsa
anjenthedog
idk. I installed one of Jeremy Soule's mods a few months ago and it plays fine, although technically it hasn't "replaced" the original sound tracks, just augmented them. Skyradio *might* allow that, not sure (afaik with skyradio you add your own music)
Grospolina
You may be able to get around it by using Music Mods Merged SSE. It's a mod that allows you to use a bunch of music mods together, and there are replacer (no vanilla music) and non-replacer versions. Apparently it works fine even if you don't install ALL of the music mods that it supports, so you could try just installing Celtic Music and none of the other ones. Use the "without Witcher 3" version, unless you want to add Witcher music too. One thing I noticed with Celtic Music is that the files are packed in BSA files. You will probably need to extract the files, since I don't think the BSAs can be loaded without the ESPs (which Music Mods Merged tells you to disable). You can use Bethesda Archive Extractor. The "music" directory will need to be extracted to the same directory that the BSAs are in.
