DatBanana
*SOLVED* (TLDR at bottom) So for the whole day I've been trying to mod my game with a bunch of mods and looked up some mod stability help. So I first reinstalled Skyrim (Special Edition) and deleted all the other files created by Vortex or mods to make everything clean. Booted up the game fine (No mods on other than the Wrye Bash patch called "Bashed Patch") and did the long start sequence but the camera is flipped upside down when I am first able to see, my mouse movement is also inversed (moving mouse right turns camera left). This happened before I uninstalled the game and was the whole point behind doing a clean install. I've looked around before but have only seen this error from people pressing the "d" key or moving right with a controller and then they fixed it by sprinting. Of course I tried that even though it had nothing to do with movement and it didn't work. I should note that before I reinstalled Skyrim, this glitch happened whenever I opened the inventory, making the game unplayable so I tried for two hours to fix it to no avail. I was hoping this was from a mod, but evidently not because I didn't have the Wrye Bash patch in my previous game. TLDR: Camera gets flipped when opening inventory and common fix has not worked, also not due to mods because I launched game without them. MFitz56
If it begins with your game and without mods you likely have a problem with your ini files (Skyrim.ini, SkyrimPrefs.ini). If so the simplest solution is to get this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4875 Allow it to reset your ini files to the STEP guide recommend ones and see if it resolves your problem. If not, you might want to repost this question on the SE technical thread since this is the one for LE.

I fixed it by first running that BethINI you suggested, which didn't work at first. So then I deleted SkyrimPrefs.ini, ran the game to generate a new one, and ran BethINI again. Lastly I had to start a new game, but that's fine because I barely even started in my previous run.
