I was thinking that a powers mod would be quite useful. It would incoperate powers that the player could use, sort of like plasmids from bioshock. So it's totally seperate from the weapons the player is using at that moment. This may mean creating a whole new resource other then health. Sort of like mana. I'm not sure if it's possible even with Geck, but it would be quite awesome to be able to do something like that. Powers would include pyrokinesis, cryokinesis, telekinesis (lol cutting people's heads open), maybe flight? and anything else you could possibly think off. You would have to have some sort of limitation of what powers you could get, and how many at a time. Also kudos to the psychic mod who have shown that some of it may actually be able to be done.

 

Why?

I think it would be a different spin on the game, imagine shooting a bunch of raiders, when suddenly the raider boss starts trying to torch you. It would be quite interesing to use powers. It could open up a sort of "mage" class which i personally think is missing in Fallout.

Also to reply to the last post... I agree with that statement. Sniper rifles don't zoom up nearly as much as they should, and are perhaps a little too inacurate for "sniping". But i wouldn't compare the sniper to the magnum, the magnum's scope is useless.

Pressure mines. Not like those easy to spot normal mines with beeper-alarms on 'em that you can just pick up (i wonder which great military mind came up with that idea).

 

Theyre hard to spot and only make a clicking sound when you step on them. At that point you'd need a pretty damn high explosives skill to save your ass :P. Try to jump off one and well, boom!

 

Nice Falloutish way to die, standing on a pressure mine not being able to get off. You can either try it and die or stay there and starve to death, either way, enjoy the view before you die muhahaha.....

No. Bethesda put too much of a "new" spin on the game. We dont need magic, fairies, magical underwear, invincible kids, hookers who lay next to you and doze off, shitty main quests, a VATS system that makes you invincible, rads that are no threat, <ends rant abruptly>.
