Sallyo
Hello everyone, there is this amazing mod called the World of Rudia that I am trying to play. I am down in a desert dungeon and get to the end room with a bunch of bad guys and final defeat them all. I get a message that says read the book. So I walk up to the altar and click to read the book. The book opens.. and nothing! I take the book anyways and make thelong journey back through the dungeon and take it back to the guy im supposed to show it too and nada! Now in the videos I have seen, as soon as you read it, it gives you a message that the book was read, you can take it and go back to the town and give it to Akibar. A portal opens up so you can fast travel back to the entrance. Is there a console command to just forward the quest? I have watched 3 videos and I know im doing nothing wrong.. I cant sem to activate the book. Other tomes im fine. I read them and get the magic or whatever.. there s no new spells in my inventory after reading the book and I dont get the system quest message that says its completed.. here is the video you can fast forward to 1:18:36I appreciate anyone that can help me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxfpKD48B00&t=4752s
MFitz56
Yes, but you'll have to figure out the name of the quest. So you need these three console commands: 1) sqt (show quest targets). This will give you the list of all quests that you currently are running. Hopefully, the one for your mod will have a distinctive name so as to make this easier. You will likely have yo use the "Page Up" button to scroll through the entire lists of open quests. 2) player.sqs <quest ID>. This is the quest ID you get from step one. (SQS - show quest stages). You should see a number of stages makrked with 1 (that you have completes) and others marked with 0 (which are not). Make a note of the first one with a zero. 3) setstage <quest ID> <stage desired>. This should set the quest ID that you found in step 1 to the stage that you found as 0 in step 2. (If you go back after doing this to step 2 you should find that stage now says 1). Note: the numerals in my explanation and the periods are for grammar not use. So step one in the console should simply look like this: sqt more information on the console can be found in UESPWiki (Skyrim) Edited January 17, 2020 by MFitz56

Sallyo
bwahhaa this might work completequest <quest ID> Complete the quest instantly. Be careful when using this command. Often, it merely makes the quest in the Journal become a completed quest. However, the related actors or NPCs to the quest may not recognize that you have completed a quest/task in order to give you a following quest/task. Quest IDs can be found in Quests. Sallyo
Is it possible to just skip the desert part and get to the Asian part?
Sallyo
Is it possible to just skip the desert part and get to the Asian part? Well never mind I was able to use those console commands and race trough it.. Thank you so much! I may not have stuck with it otherwise. They really worked
