LE Normal looking eyes while playing as a vampire

Simply put, I would like to continue playing as a vampire but without having those ugly Dawnguard eyes. I really just want to have my character look human again, but it's important to me that it doesn't affect other vampires--they need to have the same ugly orange/glowing eyes.

The idea is that my character has the ability to look normal.

 

I found one way of doing this already...I used the creation kit to enable one of the human eyes for the vampire races, and used the showracemenu command in game. This allowed my vampire to switch to human eyes, and it sticks until I change into a vampire lord and back; it always resets my eyes to the default vampire eyes (since my race has also changed back).

 

Simply overriding the texture affects every vampire, and the method I used isn't ideal.

I was thinking it might be possible to create a worn item that forces certain appearance changes. The problem is, I don't know if this is possible or easy to do. I'm sure that it requires some scripting wizardry, which I know almost nothing about. For example: you equip an amulet and suddenly your glowing eyes become light blue and look human.

 

Can anyone give advice?

 

It's a simple goal, but ridiculously hard to achieve so far.

YES I AGREE THIS IS A PIECE OF CAKE FOR ALL YOU GREAT MODDERS PLEASE REMOVE DAWNGUARD YELLOW EYES AND ALOW FOR EYES TO REMAIN THE WAY THEY WERE BEFORE VAMPIRE PLEASE. Im using eye mod from a naruto jutsu mod, adds al kinds of sharingan eyes and renneigon. i want to keep them

I'm personally using this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22774 that allows you to keep your appearance as a vampire, although it does have the problem that it takes forever to change from Vampire Lord back to your normal form (about 5 minutes it seems)
