Network Assignment Help

I have an assignment where I have to design a "hypothetical" network for a school for so many people, however I don't know how to find prices on Cisco's, Juniper's, or HP's sites and that is one of the requirements I need to compare. Do I most likely have to talk to a sales representative or look on the internet through google? The assignment did mention about leasing out parts which is why I am kind of going schitzo right now.

You probably would have to call or e-mail them about prices, especially if the assignment said you would be leasing parts. Give them a call and explain to them what your assignment is about, I'm sure they would have no problem giving you some quotes.

 

What are you looking for though, prices on high grade network routers? They do sell high end ones by Cisco on newegg. You could also check newegg's business part of their website, they might have those other brands you mentioned.

Well, I will try. I'm just kinda under a little stress since I also got my finals test due the same time as this assignment.

Ah yeah. I remember last year of high school. Had to study for finals plus had a huge senior project due at the same time :wallbash: Must say I don't miss that lol.

 

You shouldn't have a problem with them. In a computer class I had, we had to call or e-mail companies to get permission to use logos or other things from their websites. Gave them a call, explained the assignment, they were more than happy to "allow permission" to use their logos. It was pretty cool haha.

It would be fine if the teacher would respond to my email and if it was an actual campus, I can only do online classes which right now suck badly.......
