biopip
if you want to be able to achieve 4k @60 fps, then you will want the 2070 or better or maybe even gtx 1080ti... Thank you so much for your detailed respons. Much appreciated! I think I'll start over and reinstall the vanilla edition and install one a mod a time and test as I goes by - that way I got a better chance at pinpointing what mod(s) is killing my system. And I'll go back to oldschool 1080p for now. I don't what to end up with a rig with to many bottleneck (that being a fast CPU and a slow CPU). I'll be droping the "Fallout 4 Enhanced Edition - A Hardcore RPG Fallout 4 Modlist - Made with Horizon" and just go for the standard "Horizon v1.7". I'm trying to mod my game for a more survival style game - and maybe with some new GFX mods and DLS's.
G4M3W1NN3R
your welcome  with regards to starting from scratch, thats the best way to do it, however bare in mind, the biggest bottleneck is the game engine itself and poor optimization on beths part, regardless of how powerful the hardware you have, you will sooner or later hit that bottleneck, with regards to how heavy you are modding (more demand = higher chance of hitting that limitation). hitting the bottleneck/ limitation = Poor Framerate and CTDs More powerful hardware = will improve the modding experience, but will not improve the limitation.
