A modeling question

Depends. How much work are you willing to do? Are you willing to deal with Blender and import and export?

If so it's not that hard - Start up Blender, import the upper Khajiit teeth, and switch to edit mode. Turn proportional edit on (little orange circle on the bar above the edit buttons) and grab the tip of each tooth. Drag them down until the fangs are as long as you want. Scrolling the mouse wheel increases or decreases the radius affected by the editing.

Then go to object mode, press ctrl+a, and export the teeth into a new folder named appropriately for your mod (e.g. meshes/characters/saber men or whatever). They should already have correct material settings and positioning since you used a default mesh, so you can path directly to them when you make the .esp for your new race.

Hi SY!

I am looking to increase the size of my orc races lower teeth, making them more tusk like. Could this example be used in that case as well?

this is my first attempt at modeling but from what I have done already I can tell you that you could use this to make the Orc's teeth into tusks. Just import the lower teeth and go to work

Thanks Exanimis, looking forward to trying it out.

Hm...what exactly do you mean a blend.nif? is it still a nif file only without the proper name?

It's saving the file as this

ok so it is saying .nif.blend? Ok, i think i have had a similar problem before. So, just to clarify your procedure... you go to export, netimmerse/gamesbro, and then that screen where it asks you to save it as a certain name and directory whatever comes up right? Then when you press save... does another screen come up BEFORE THE EXPORT asking which game you are exporting it for, the scale correction, material, collision data, etc.? If not, then there must be something you are doing wrong... and if you are and you clicked save and it still comes out like that, then i have no idea.

OK so i just went through the process quickly... so you get to that screen... what exactly are you saving the name as? I think you should just name it as a name dont try to put an extension on the end, because blender does that for you. ummm if you didnt do that then fine. There is no "save" button, but there is an "ok" button as indicated by the attached picture... make sure you have all the criteria in the other areas as well that you want specifically. Hopefully this helps!

Dang! I just figured out that I had to lower the bottom buttons and hit the OK button. Thank you armageddon818 for sticking with me until we found the problem. I told you I was a noob at blender but I've got my file now and I'm off to apply my new teeth.
