How to bring back a deleted Persistent Reference object?

Ugh, I think I made it worse. I downloaded Tes4Edit selected "check for errors", went to the error messages for the deleted references, right-clicked on them to edit values, and unchecked "deleted". I thought this would undelete the stuff without hiding it, but instead the stuff doesn't show up in the game or in the CS anyway. So I re-checked "deleted" on those items but now Tes4Edit doesn't recognize them as errors and doesn't let me "undelete and disable references". (I click on it and it says, "[undeleting and Disabling References done] Processed Records: 0 Undeleted Records: 0 Elapsed Time: 00:00"

I think I really screwed it up this time. I think I'm totally screwed. I think I'm gonna cry.

Nah, you haven't done anything. Even if you had, TES4Edit creates a backup everytime you save.

You don't want to check for errors.

Load up your plugin in TES4Edit, then right click on it and select "Apply Filter"

On the dialog that comes up, down towards the bottom will be "Conflict Status Inherited by Parent" Check that, and then uncheck all other boxes.

Hit OK and let it process. Once its done, your plugin will probably gain some background color, but you can ignore that. Right click on it and select "Undelete and Disable References", once that is done, right click again and select "Remove Identical To Master References". When you are done, just close TES4Edit and save.

You can then load it back up in the CS and fix the status of the parent object.
