Osmanli
What about this : http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/332396-15-6950-issues-skyrim-possible-solution-inside With an earlier Driver this problem should be fixed. Try to open a thread in the ATI Forums and attach your image. This Bug must be fixed before from someone in the past. Deleted2770933User
I've also got this problem (from time to time) and so far have been unable to find a solution. Tried EVERYTHING! Edited November 21, 2012 by Guest

WillAtwood
I've also got this problem (from time to time) and so far have been unable to find a solution. Tried EVERYTHING! It's an Intel Q6600 2.4Ghz processor, but I can't remember now what mobo... Do you think this has anything to do with it?
Osmanli
I dont think that is an CPU problem. It`s an specific ATI Driver problem. I suppose that can be to do with the VRAM Managment of the Radeon Cards. Thats why i`m prefer an nVidia Card now. @Walteriusmaximus did you have an ATI too ? On my nVidia Driver settings i have a "Quality and Performance" setting. Can you please try out "High Performance" and force AF with CC but without extra AF optimization options for your Skyrim Profile. I'm running an ATI HD 6970 card, exact same architecture as the 6950.I have tried a million different settings in a million different ways using a million different versions of the drivers, but nothing seems to work and I've eventually given up.May change to Nvidia too. Osmanli
@Walteriusmaximus Hmm, this is really odd. There must be eventually a fix from ATI at least. I heard about this problems from almost everyone with a ATI in Skyrim. As i said, this is very odd :ermm: And as far as i know, nVidia is based more on performance compared to the ATI`s. Radeon Cards are more Quality based. Its true that Radeon have better Graphics, no question. My first Card was an Radeon. But they are very "susceptible" for Graphical errors because of that. Another Strange thing is, WillAtwood say that it`s works fine without an installed Driver. WTH !?!

WillAtwood
I also get this bug and im using nvidia gts 450. Iv never been able to get rid of it no matter what i tried :/ [edit] Spoke too soon. The bug has returned...so ignore the stuff below Now THIS is interesting! Did you look at my screenshot? Is this exactly what you are getting?Considering you don't have an ATI card, this does throw all our theories about dodgy drivers out the window. What I've done over the weekend in a desperate attempt to get to the bottom of this issue was to completely re-install my game and this time not activate ANY graphics mods (except for FXAA Post-Process Injector) and after around 6 hours of gameplay I have not yet seen this bug return! So it could well be that it is caused by a mod, or a combination of mods. Oh, actually, I do have the Static Mesh Improvement mod installed as well as the Bethesda HD textures... So far so good... I may slowly (one at a time) re-introduce the various mods I've been using to see if I can identify when the problem re-occurs. Or I may not. Enjoying playing without this stubborn bug for now... I will however post an update after some more testing. One more thing: It would appear that this bug is triggered by either light sources (standing close to a fire for example) or bright surfaces such as snow.Sometimes, when triggered, it will simply not go away until you either fast travel to a different location, or reboot your machine. Restarting the game rarely removes the white rectangle once it's shown up. Edited November 26, 2012 by WillAtwood
Bredbin
Yes its the exact same thing, the white rectangle when looking down with my character. In 1st person its below me but in 3rd it blocks my view quite abit. Its weird because its just really random how its there one minute and then it goes for a while and then soon as you think its gone it pops straight back. Iv notice that sometimes going through my inventory triggers it to come on. Or running around on my horse can make it dissapear in certain areas but then it comes back. Also it goes away for a little while if i exit to windows and restart the game. I do have a ton of mods though but i disabled all of them to no avail. I disabled enb and that didnt work either. Iv just learned to live with it now lol
