GECK Landscape Editor brush size and nograss textures

Hi,

 

I am trying to remove grass from a campsite. I am only interested in removing a smalll amount of grass from around the campfire and under the trailer.

 

However, there appears to be only one no-grass landscape texture in the landscape editor. I verified this by searcing for nograss in the object window and only one turned up in the search. (The FNV ESM was loaded along with the mod's ESP.)

 

Also the smallest brush has the width value of "1" but an actual width of about 275 units (the red circle is over twice the diameter of a brick campfire circle.)

 

1. Where are the no-grass landscape textures?

 

2. How do I get a smaller brush size?

 

3. Is there an easier way to do this? ( I have all the artisic talent of a concussed bee... :biggrin: )

Hey.

 

Many of the textures listed twice will be the two varieties. Not all of them amend with 'noGrass', some have a 'grass' version and others don't. For instance the camp Golf "tall grass" and so on. Peruse the texture list and it should make more sense. If you want to delete the texture hit ' I ' while in the editor, and delete it from the list. Don't delete the top texture (the highest %) from the list (ever).

 

Brush size FTW, 275 units? Should be the diameter of a truck tire at the lowest setting. Make sure you have the proper map loaded in the GECK.

 

It gets easier once you get familiar with some of the textures you like, and work with the editor more.
