Bashur
Greetings, My name is Bashur, and I'm the creative director at Bashurverse ( http://www.youtube.com/bashurverse ) and I haven't played Skyrim yet. I'm a huge Elder Scrolls fan, but I've been so busy that I haven't had the chance to actually play at all. Let's get to the nitty gritty. http://i47.tinypic.com/209hjd5.png - In this picture you'll see that I've spent over 220 hours playing Skyrim. The problem is, I haven't. I've spent over 220 hours MODING Skyrim. I haven't even gotten past the first Dragon at the tower at Whiterun. This is a HUGE problem, and my obsessive compulsive disorder is preventing me from playing the game. I want to play the game, and I want to enjoy it with the fans, so i'm going to pay an expert MODer to help create and maintain an immersive Skyrim experience. I will pay $100 to the one that will help me with this project. You will need Skype, Ventrilo, and patience. Work with me to help create an immersive experience for me to play in a timely manner. I'd like to be playing the game before the next DLC comes out, as soon as possible. If you're interested, say something below with examples that you know what you're doing when it comes to MODing; I'm talking Bash Patching, compatibility troubleshooting, optimization, etc. TL;DR$100 to one MODer that will help create/maintain an immersive Skyrim experience for me and the fans. If you have any questions, just post below. Thanks,Bashur P.S. To clerify real fast, I'm not asking for someone to make a mod, I'm asking if someone could work with me on making a MOD "pack" of sorts to create a fun immersive playthrough that the fans and I would enjoy. scrivener07
Mod compilations and payment for mods are not allowed and I think Beth moderators feel the same way.
Bashur
Okay, could someone help me do it for free then? I thought it would be prickish to ask for help with getting MOD's together for a let's play without offering some sort of payment, but I'm constantly getting yelled at in private messages and on YouTube because I wanted to offer some sort of reward for helping me with something that could take a fair amount of time. And how is Mod compilations not allowed? I'm talking about using Mod Organizer and having a bunch of MOD's installed on my game. I'm not talking about giving it out or selling it, etc etc. I'm really confused as to why everyone's extremely angry at me over this, it makes absolutely no sense. I can only assume people are misreading what I'm saying. I'm getting beyond frustrated with this, I have no idea why I'm being shut down at every turn over something as innocent as asking someone to help me put some mods in my game so I can play a MODed Skyrim. At this point I'm pulling my freaking hair out. What the hell has it come to when someone says "I'll give you some money for helping me out" is beyond shunned upon, yet when you ask for help for free, no one offers to help at all? Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Man back in Morrowind days , it wasn't this crazy. Just saying. EDIT: I've been awake for literally 33 hours now working on this thing. I'm heading to bed, but I am curious as to what I can do so that I'm not yelled at for asking for help/rewarding those who help me. Because I don't know what to do now. Night. ghosu
I think it would be a good idea to list EXACTLY what you want...i've read the whole thing and i still have no idea what you want :D What kind of "mod pack"? Might help to explain it to get someone's attention - though the chance is pretty low i guess. Edited November 17, 2012 by ghosu
steve40
Like scrivener07 said, mod compilations are against Nexus rules, whether paid or free.
Bashur
I think it would be a good idea to list EXACTLY what you want...i've read the whole thing and i still have no idea what you want :D What kind of "mod pack"? Might help to explain it to get someone's attention - though the chance is pretty low i guess. When I say "MOD Pack" I mean, I literally ( Figuratively ) sit down with someone over skype/ventrillo, and start talking about the type of Skyrim experience I would like. They go out and find the mods and put them together for me to put into my game. It's no different than http://skyrimgems.com/ or STEP - Skyrim Total Enhancement Project by TheCompiler. Here's an example; Me: "I don't want the UI to even really be seen that much, I want to feel immersed"The person goes and gets Immersive HUD - iHUD by GopherMe: "I also want to be able to see a war happening, like the world is alive, you know?"The person goes and gets WARZONES - Civil Unrest by MyGoodEyeMe: "And I really hate the start of the game, it takes too long to get past and it's always the same. I wish I could randomly start somewhere different each time."The person goes and gets Random Alternate Start by Syclonix In the end they'll know what kind of experience I want, and try to get the MODs that will compliment that in my game. What I PAY them for is their time, because doing that for free for little to no reward sounds like a horrible "job" for anyone. This will never be given out, and is only for my personal Let's Play enjoyment, and every MOD auther will obviously get credit. I was planning on making videos about the MOD's I use in my Let's Play, highlighting each and every one of them in case the fans want to check them out. The problem is money, money is skewing everyones view on this. The money is me trying to give something back for that persons time helping me, that's all, that's it. If someone wants to do it for free, that's cool too, but it won't make me feel any less horrible for the person spending so much time MODing a game they're not going to play. Does that help clear it up? If not, I can explain further.
Issa 5
That makes a lot more sense. :) Feel free to PM me a list of factors of things you want in Skyrim, I'll try and reply with a list of stuff I think you'll like before Monday. :) No payment necessary. I don't pretend to be a good modder myself, but I have spent a very long time on the Nexus, and I like to think I know a good deal of the mods available. The thing that was driving me crazy was; I didn't know what needed compatibility patches for what. That's one of the reasons I wanted to pay someone, because going through compatibility issues is a huge headache, and finding proper patches and making a certain compilation work well with one another. And I don't know how to properly Bashpatch, and I hear I should be doing that if I have a lot of mods.
Issa 5
Wryebash is pretty useful, but I find that it's not completely necessary. I'll try and steer you towards mods with compatibility patches. :)
XkohakuX
If you would like, you can forward what you want to me as well and I may e able to help, I have 140+ mods, but it's also my third time reinstalling skyrim (eventually I get bored lol) and I have gone through hundreds more in my previous experiences, as well as worked extensively both making, and playing, mds from oblivion, to new Vegas and fallout, all the way up to skyrim and my most recent project. So I may be able to help out, whether it be finding them, helping you get many (possibly conflicting) mods working, or maybe even compiling some into my latest project. In any case, as the previous poster said, no payment necessary, but the few you posted were ones I personally use, enjoy, and know rather extensively. ***i am not greatly, or much at all for that matter, familiar with the sex or porn or w/e related mods, closest I have come is to a race of ladies that is being used (with permission of course) as a goddess and her followers in my project. In any case I hope you find what you are looking for, and enjoy the game! Have a wonderful day (:
