RatB0Y68
Hi, it's me again. I have another question. Is there a game setting I can fiddle with that would allow me to boost the success chance for companions lockpicking/hacking? Or perhaps maybe a script I could use? My custom companion can hack and pick, but the success rate is a little bit on the low side and I want to make it more forgiving.
taryl80
Not that I know. But that doesn't mean anything. Also, I have heard or read that the companion Heather is be able to rise her success rate. Drawback of this is, that you maybe (I doesn't know) have to generate a different quest-template for your companion if you want to use her hacking method. Far as I know rises the success rate by standard followers only, if the player also learns hacking. If the player uses 1 perk point for hacking they also going be better and so on. At least I have read it multiple times. I had never really struggle with it. Besides password protected terminals is the success rates of companions pretty high imo. Edit: On the other side, Lockpicking and Hacking are the things I usually learn pretty early in the game, so... With that have my companions all the bases for it they need if the upper thing is true.
