Springvale Crash

Hello Guys,

 

First let me establish that I am not a noobish as I was as I started doing this but I am still learning a lot of stuff. Now I have a ton of mods on, and I've spent a extensive amount of time making sure none of them conflict with each other. I have the game stable with the mods that I have. The problem is there are a few more mods that I want to have active.

 

The issue I run into is when I turn just one more on, I load a save near the Vault 101 entrance and then start moving towards Springvale. The sign that I've used to tell if it's going to work is I pull the pipboy(pipboy readius) out and if its a red exclamation mark then I know i'll crash at Springvale. I turn it off and go back and I can go to through Springvale and all other areas with no problem.

 

I have tried the Merged Patch method which has not worked or helped(granted I could have done it wrong I ticked all the mods to make a merged patch and am not sure if I'm only supposed to tick a certain set). I have made the game Large Address Aware, and I have Stutter Remover on as well. I tried the BOSS method and that ended up crashing the game at the menu screen. I spent a whole day manually setting up the load order, turning on a mod or two then running through and making sure the game doesn't crash. I have gotten as many mods as I can on there without it having it crash near springvale, now I'm just down to a few more mods that I can't activate.

 

I'm playing the GOTY version, patch is up to date. I'm also using FOMM. My load order is as follows:

If I crash if I go in any direction, I have simply used Springvale as the indicator if everythings going to work because it was the first thing that caused the crashes when I first starting working on this thing.

 

I put posting in here off because I hoped I could get it to work but I've hit a stone wall. I really really want to return to the wasteland and in a big way and would really appreciate any help you guys can give me. Once again I'm still a little bit of a noob but I'm getting the gist of things. Thank you for the help in advance.

Are you using F.O.S.E.? The red block with the white ! is an indication of a missing mesh, which is usually caused by an improper install. Also, recheck your load order, all .esm must load before .esp. Compatibility patches for mods should load after compatibility patches for Fallout or DLC. If you have installed B.O.S.S. properly and read the report , it will set your load order better than you can. Since you got a crash after using B.O.S.S., you must not have corrected the errors it reported. With the amount of mods you are trying to run, you should have a merged patch created by FO3Edit. MERC 2.esp is actually an .esm and should be loaded with the rest of the .esm.

Yes I am using FOSE. The red block with white ! only happens if add another mod in. The list I have on there works fine but if I add another mod then it doesn't work. I used the BOSS in FOMM but I will download and try using the actual BOSS.

I ran BOSS and fixed two errors and it didn't correct the issue. I found an issue in FO3edit and removed that as well. I made the merged patch and currently having an issue where the master update window pops up with a command prompt window, they both pop up and close real fast. I'm not able to read anything, so I'm not sure if it's actually running the master update. I have searched online and haven't been any particular to my situation.

 

Does anyone have any ideas?
