I shot his head off and there didnt appear to be any circuitry in there.Have you not done The Replicated Man quest? You learn, among other things, that android technology has actually progressed in the world of Fallout 3 to the point where androids can be made nearly identical to humans. Even to the point where they can feel, bleed, eat, reason, and so on. I see no reason that something that can bleed should have obvious circuitry. Omnimmotus
Yeah, at the last moment he injects himself with what I like to call "Plot Device". Potent drug. This scene and the ending are the only two severe problems I have with the game. The scene where your Dad dies is an obvious reference to the death of Spock, but unfortunately for your father, unlike Spock, his decision was not logical. And then Autumn lives for no reason other than a completely unreasonable hand wave of the event. Apparently Enclave Power Armor MkII, which probably has a better coating than the 10 micron silver ablative coating on T-51b models that deflects lasers and radiation without even damage to the composite subsurface of the armor, was completely useless in preventing radiation from killing or incapacitating the two guards, but an unspecified drug injected quickly and potentially incorrectly managed to prevent the effects of radiation completely. This would mean this drug instantly spread to all parts of his body and prevented any radiation from colliding with any proteins throughout his entire body without interfering with primary bodily function while doing so. My guess is by the time the needle touched his skin he would have already suffered severe brain cell damage, so even that is stretching it, even if we ignore the rules of chemistry as far as the drug goes. Well at least the coating on the glass works. Ironic, since it was likely made with greatly less resources and knowledge than the Enclave armor would be. This and the ending contain plot holes which are completely inexcusable. But besides that, great game.
DragonJTS
you know somethings wrong with your morals when the first thing you think during that scene is 'I should steal his coat"
