Pickysaurus
We believe we have found a solution to this issue. The problem was caused by a JavaScript loop resizing fonts to fit on screen, however if you have font scaling enforced by your device it would get stuck in an infinite loop as it would not be allowed to reduce the font size. We have deployed a fix to prevent this from happening in future. We are currently looking into the following issue with our site. If you are able to reproduce it, you may be able to help us by providing some additional information.Issue Reported: Some users have reported that our new user service freezes after entering their email address to create a new account and loading the second page where you must enter the code sent to your email address. https://users.nexusmods.com/register/verify We have been unable to replicate the issue thus far, it appears to be related to a specific setup. More information is required. Who does this effect? This issue has been reported very infrequently in emails to [email protected]. It seems to be a very small number of users and we have yet to identify a common factor. What information is required? In order to help us get to the bottom of the issue. Please reply to this thread including the following information: Operating System: (Windows/Mac/Linux) Country: Internet Service Provider: If you have tried more than one browser, which ones did you try and what was the result? What browser addons are you using? Were you able to login using a different device on the same internet connection (such as a mobile phone)? Were you able to login when using a different internet connection (such as a mobile data plan)? Workaround For now, the only solution we can offer is to try and register an account on a different device, then sign in as normal on your PC.
