Triforce1
Yeah, before any of you goes off on me, let me say that I am not a huge Castlevania fan. I've never even played one of the games. But when I came across this picture some days ago, I thought it was the greatest thing ever. Sure, the weapon may not be exactly of Oblivion style, and it may be missing some obvious things like, I don't know, a place to hold it. But come on, a clock set into a huge silver sword? That's cool. At least I thought so. So here's the reference shot, should anyone feel compelled to make it. The modeller should of course redesign it a little so it has a handle and stuff. And it would be cool if the clock faces actually kept accurate game time, but I'm just spouting ideas. Thanks, Triforce1.http://mrmarkrobson.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/tmpphpdfbm7c_aeon.jpg

exanimis
Can you imagine actually having to lift that thing? Maybe the clock should be made into a shield, separate from the sword. The sword is awesome even though in real life it would be easily broken Weather it gets made or not, thanks for posting, it's an interesting photo. Personally I'd like to see a set of clothes made in that style. Kind of a vampyric, Saturday Night Fever, Disco thing worthy of Casanova Frankenstein and the Disco Boys
Triforce1
Like I said, neither Oblivion-style nor realistic. But I'm glad you guys think its cool. Agreed that the clothing would be cool. And maybe the sword can be minimalized to be styled after an hour hand, and maybe a dagger minute hand, and a clock shield that keeps accurate game time. I'm all for this now. Perfect if you want to roleplay like a youthful "Father Time" character or something. If it is made, I would never unequip the stuff. exanimis
I am just starting out with blender, making meshes so I can't really help you with this. I have reposted that photo in my own thread on another forum because that is exactly the style of clothing I had in mind for a race in my own mod. I will learn to work with meshes and textures and that particular race will be wearing those clothes. Thanks again for posting that.
amycus
Personally I am more interested in the clothes he is wearing. If I ever managed to finish the armor I'm currently am making, I wouldn't mind to give that a shot, unless someone else beats me to it, lol. For the sword, I think it would be hard to make it show in-game time. Not impossible, I'm sure there are some great modders that know how to do it, but personally I wouldn't know where to start. Nevertheless, I think that you should try to decide exactly how the sword should be hold... If it were me I would make a one big sword of the pointers, and then a shield of the rest of the clock he is holding... and of course, a working clock if possible on the shield. The pointers would have the same design as the sword then. Well, anyways, I support the idea of this mod
UnholyShadow
The sword and the clothes look really nice, but if a modder decided to create these he would have to exercise a little artist's liberty.

exanimis
male, female, boy, girl I don't really care. I have a race of people in my mod who live deep underground. Their skin is pale and both male and female have a feminine appearance. Those clothes are going to be perfect for them
