Xbox 360 Game Cases

Have anyone's 360 game cases broken due to almost nothing? My GTA IV case broke a couple hours after I got it, and my Gears of War 2 case, which I just got today, was already broken on the inside when I opened it. The disc wouldn't lock in and it had some scratches on it, but it works fine. The plastic they use is pretty bad quality.

Can't say that I've had the same problem. My Rainbow 6: Vegas case has been reduced to fragments, but that was because I sat on it. Otherwise, I tend to keep all my game cases on my bookshelf and store the discs in a CD wallet, so they don't get exposed to much(if any) wear and tear.

That's actually what my friend does, but the cases breaking isn't due to wear and tear- it's due to them making the cases with a very low quality plastic. Some cases are made out of a different type, so they are much more durable. The cases that break easily are the ones with clear, sorta neon lime color plastic, such as the plastic used in the Gears of War 2, Viva Pinata, and GTA IV cases.

I also have the same problem with the game cases. some of the ones i bought where broken from the start, i beat a least 65 to 70% of my game cases are broken, not because i dont take care of them, trust me i freak when people touch them (I have the in alphabetical order...) I think its the plastic they use, or its just thin plastic. I never had problem like that with any of my PS2 or Xbox orginial cases, just the 360 ones.
