kwdblade
Before someone explodes on me, yes I read the readme, and I know which folder to put loader into. Here is the problem; it says it can't find the TESV.exe file, and here is why - because I have the TESV.exe.4gb file, which I assume comes from the 4gb Memory mod from awhile ago. Is SKSE incompatible with the 4gb memory mod, or was I just supposed to delete the .4gb end of the file name? Hope this makes sense.
scrivener07
You dont need the 4gb patch. Skyrim was updated with LAA enabled which is just a checkbox someone forgot to click when older versions were built. Jennifur68
SKSE is kinda fussy...its looking for TESV.exe, it won't recognize TESV with the extentions hidden so I assume its not recognizing yours since its TESV.exe.4gb. I suppose you can try renaming it to TESV.exe but that might break anything that requires it to be TESV.exe.4gb...you may have to choose between them. Maybe someone else knows a workaround for this. seanxx
Maybe you could delete this 4gb exe *keep a back up of it of course, and then verify the files via steam, Steam will notice the exe is missing and re-download it ? just an idea. Deleted3507349User
The 4Gb memory fix for Skyrim is long obsolete. Bethesda fixed that issue in one of the early patches.
