falcont
Hi all, -- I am starting this topic again because I don't think I made myself clear the first time. At the end of last week playing Oblivion, Like you do, I decided to fined a mod on the Nexus mod page's but it would not let me in giving me a time out message all the time, Thinking that the site was a little overcrowded ass it has been telling me a bit just lately, I just left it alone for a couple of days. Then in the small hours of Sundaymorning my Nexus Mod Manager told me I needed to reinstall my id code. but it would not accept it, and it came back with the message [[[[ cannot reach the nexus metadata server ]]]] and as I am already running the updated mod Manager I thought I would try at getting into the Nexus Mod Page again and kept trying till 4am Sunday morning but to no avail. then I thought i would try all the other mod pages on the Nexus Site and I had no problems with any of them Now you are going to say something must be wrong with your [ Files or Mods ] BUT I run 2 PCs separate from each other, and my other PC i only use for putting up text sheets and tuts for visual aid only and that machine is doing exactly as my [ Graphic come Games ] machine it can get all page's on the internet at the nexus forums but not NEXUS OBLIVION MODS Well people I am now in your hands. The reason for that is computer wizz Near where I live Are a little thin on the ground and they don't wish to get involved with a 70 +PC noob. Any way if you read this but can't help THANKS If you read this and can help but don't, hope you enjoyed reading If you read this and can help anddo help THANKS - THANKS - THANKS Falcont
Hickory
Try emptying your browser's cache, and then perform a hard refresh [CTRL+F5] to refresh the page. By the way, Sundays are always the busiest on the Nexus, so best to try on another day, and if you can, try when the UK / US peak times don't overlap.
