Underwater Fighting, more environments then snow, more then one type of undead, longer quests, the realm of Oblivion, alchemy on the go, goblins and the ability to use food items for alchemy because as it is now food items are useless because even cocked they give tiny HP recovery :psyduck: .

PS. Also stats other then HP MP SP.

Cant believe People are still complaining about Underwater Fighting when there hasent been a Mod already, what are you Brilliant Modders doing lately, scratching your head and wonder how to do such a Tiny thing, but oh wait, i just build a 6 Storage Tower with a Brilliant ENB and Dragons doing the Tango.

Realistically who is going to be swinging a sword underwater anyway? That doesn't even register on my list of wants lol.

um.. i am, it would add another sort of plane to use for modding, epic underwater battles against sea serpents (just adapt some dragons) or sharks, or pirate..ghosts..? plus for the realism, don't want the dragonborns arms becoming crippled by water, even argonians who are supposed to be really good in water suddenly can't swing their arms in it?

oh and you are right luzburg, we need people to stop messing around with enb's and armour mods and get down to making some quests. hurry up and make a tears of the fiend skyrim edition or something!

I miss spell crafting.

Seriously.

I can't figure out why Bethesda is satisfied with vanilla magic losing all effectiveness past level 35. Can't raise dead. Can't use illusion. Can't Banish undead. Atronachs lose all credibility.

I just.. Miss it. My game is bogged down with magic mods, to the point where there's about a 10-1 ratio of mod to vanilla magic. And I still can't craft spells >_<.

I've actually been strongly considering working on quests, but I keep asking wondering, is Skyrim modding really that active? Is there really the demand for quests?

Some of the music. It was perfect for exploring the world and I think Skyrim's music is a little worse.

Weapon Types. I know Morrowind had a ridiculous amount of weapons, and that's cool, but Oblivion had way more weapons that Skyrim too. Whatever happened to Longswords and Shortswords, or all the cool named blades? (Blackwater Blade, that pirate one. There are a few that you can get from different vendors) Heck, just bring back shortswords and we'll be good to go.

Feeling stealthy while sneaking with your sword. Skyrim, overall, has a better stealth feel, I think, but I really miss how while sneaking in Oblivion, if you pulled out your sword, you would kinda do this slow, quiet animation. It felt sneaky. In skyrim, you just tear the blade out of the sheathe with no regards to anyone hearing that.

Overall, I miss environment variation. Skyrim has some beautiful environments, but for the most part, it's all variations on rocks and mountains. Plains with rocks and mountains in the distance, Icy coast with mountains, highlands with rocks all over. Oblivion had a giant forest, swamps, mountains, highlands, kind of a more rainforest/jungle-y thing down by blackmarsh.

(Note on that last one, I'm pretty sure Skyrim actually has better environment variation, but Unique Landscapes has clouded my vision with it's awesomeness)

I've never really understood why people kicked up such a fuss about the removal of secondary stats. By the time i hit level 40 in Oblivion, regardless of how i was playing the character, everything was pretty much maxed out anyway, making them just another layer of meaningless clutter which didn't actually contribute anything. In game modes lik D&D, where there aren't any actual attribute limits, and where said attributes have a very important impact on what you can and cannot do, i can still see a use, but in TES games, i'm happy to see them go. One less pointless thing to manage.

I do miss underwater combat, mind you, but not the way it was in Oblivion or Morrowind. Anyone who has ever tussled underwater knows it's a hell of a lot harder than rolling around on land. Fighting underwater should be tough, and innately unfavorable for any creature not native to water (IE everyone but Argonians). That's why we, as humans, try to keep fighting above the surface, even when at sea. If, by merit of being under water, you had a -50% weapon speed modifier, it would have made it interesting indeed. A perk, then, could lessen that. Argonians would suffer the same modifyer with their weapons, but no negatives with their claws.

Spell crafting, on the other hand... That should ahve been included. The magic system went backwards in Skyrim, and while i like the 2-hand equip system, the magic is downright aweful.

i think there are loads of good quest mods already, it's just the overwhelming number of armour mods are just swamping them (probably due to the simpifying of the ck)

but yes, i think we all want quest mods really. at least... i do...

The Lock Picking System in Oblivion was Better. The Skyrim Version is just like the Fallout Lock Picking System which is Poopy.
