uscur75
So... Something weird happened today. I was having trouble installing new mods for Oblivion (using Wrye Bash), so I decided to restart my computer. When I went to open Oblivion again, it just crashed. I hadn't installed any new mods, done anything with my ENB or OBSE, nothing! It just crashed, and I can't find anyone with the same problem. I even tried reinstalling Oblivion, but that doesn't work either! Any help would be much, much appreciated.
Oblivionaddicted
You should better post in the "mods troubleshooting" forum. What's your PC's configuration? What does MessageLogger report?

Sounds like you're having an issue with one of your HDD or SSD, so check these first just to see if nothing is wrong with them. EDIT: You can also try to delete Oblivion.ini in the C:\Users\<user>\Documents\My Games\Oblivion folder then run the Oblivion launcher and doing that will generate a working Oblivion.ini file. After that launch Oblivion with no mods active just to make sure you can start a new game in vanilla. Once you have done that then try to launch Oblivion with the mods you wanted to use, don't install any other new mods though.
