Endless loading screen and game crashes

Okay so I am not very good at fixing my games by messing with files so I really need help to not mess things up more:

 

I started playing Skyrim this summer ( not SE) and I installed Vortex for my mods. (I have around 43 atm).

The game was going fine. The problems began in December. I have the "Thieves Guild Reborn" mod and I was doing the side quests that make a guild grow and after around 20 jobs my game started crashing. Mostly when I fast traveled to Riften. The loading screen would turn black and I would just have the sounds of riften but no game. Always resulted in me needing to restart my PC. It was happening more and more often.

Since I'm an idiot I just downloaded some "crash fix mod" hoping it will do work for me. Nope. The game was not working at all. I unabled it. Did the same with few other mods. Then I just got back into the game, used command to finish the quest about making guild rich again and did the merchants quests. I finished all and since then my game rarely crashed.

 

Fast forward like 2 weeks or more. I am playing and I wanted to change cicero look more to my taste but I was an idiot again and downloaded a mod, that from what my friends say, doesn't change NPC but gives you an option to create character looking like this. English isn't my first language so I mess up sometimes. After I got the mod I played around 30 min ( i have Morskom Estate mod) I got out of the house and the game crashed again. Nothing new right? No. After that every time I load the game I have a fully animated loading screen that never ends. I can fiddle with the 3d object on the screen and the tips keep changing but no game. I disabled the cicero mod thinking it was the problem but it does the same thing. Idk what to do.

 

I am too stupid to follow most helping tutorials bc sometimes when I try they show some kind of folder that I need to work in and... turns out I can't find it or there are different folder names or sth else and It already makes me to scared to try to fix it myself. I'm still a noob modder and I have around 200h in-game. I was suggested to uninstall all mods and the game itself and install it all over again bc steam should save my savefile but I do the stuff like wabbajack and other quest items in my Morskom estate I am afraid it will reset. I also married Brynjolf by mod and don't want to lose it. What do I do?

RaceMenu preset - Cicero (Nord)

 

 

I have all DLC's

I load the game through SKSE ( i don't use workshop. I used to)

Game is in : E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim

 

What can I do? And how can I help not only my temporary problem but also the crashes? Any help will be appreciated.

 

P.s. do explain things to me like to an idiot. I prefer being portraited as dumb and step by step fix it than being treated like I know something I don't know.

If you want a, more or less, detailed description of dealing with CTDs go to my blog (link is found in my signature below). The shosrter answer/question is, have you downloaded the stability tools. You may not have had a problem with that mod per se. You may have simply tipped past the limit that your computer could handle. That's why people smarter than I am created the various stability tools. If you are only interested in them you can find them in the same place as the entire discussion on CTD. My blog has links to each of the tools I recommend.

My computer automatically sets skyrim settings to ultra-high and it isn't really that old. (idk if it proves anything tbf). Oh and I used to have around 50 mods and the game was fine a few months ago. Now it's causing problems. Btw. I am trying to understand this blog of yours and I found problems. For instance, it says to go to mod page etc. well the "Thieves Guild Reborn" mod has been taken off the nexus. It says that when I go to mod link via Vortex. Also when I try to disable some mods I don't need any more game is having a problem saying I will cause problems with save file ( I mean like usefull dogs mod)

A mod that is no longer supported is a good one to remove from your load order.

 

When you remove mods during a playthrough it pays to clean your save. The tool that I recommend is ReSaver and is found as part of Fallrim Tools found here:

I don't want do delete this mod. It's still affecting the guild and even tho it was removed from nexus it still works. It would mess thing up to delete it

I have the "Thieves Guild Reborn" mod and I was doing the side quests that make a guild grow and after around 20 jobs my game started crashing. Mostly when I fast traveled to Riften. The loading screen would turn black and I would just have the sounds of riften but no game. Always resulted in me needing to restart my PC. It was happening more and more often.

Since I'm an idiot I just downloaded some "crash fix mod" hoping it will do work for me. Nope. The game was not working at all. I unabled it. Did the same with few other mods. Then I just got back into the game, used command to finish the quest about making guild rich again and did the merchants quests. I finished all and since then my game rarely crashed.

 

Fast forward like 2 weeks or more. I am playing and I wanted to change cicero look more to my taste but I was an idiot again and downloaded a mod, that from what my friends say, doesn't change NPC but gives you an option to create character looking like this. English isn't my first language so I mess up sometimes. After I got the mod I played around 30 min ( i have Morskom Estate mod) I got out of the house and the game crashed again. Nothing new right? No. After that every time I load the game I have a fully animated loading screen that never ends. I can fiddle with the 3d object on the screen and the tips keep changing but no game. I disabled the cicero mod thinking it was the problem but it does the same thing. Idk what to do.

 

I am too stupid to follow most helping tutorials bc sometimes when I try they show some kind of folder that I need to work in and... turns out I can't find it or there are different folder names or sth else and It already makes me to scared to try to fix it myself. I'm still a noob modder and I have around 200h in-game. I was suggested to uninstall all mods and the game itself and install it all over again bc steam should save my savefile but I do the stuff like wabbajack and other quest items in my Morskom estate I am afraid it will reset. I also married Brynjolf by mod and don't want to lose it. What do I do?

I have all DLC's

I load the game through SKSE ( i don't use workshop. I used to)

Game is in : E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim

 

What can I do? And how can I help not only my temporary problem but also the crashes? Any help will be appreciated.

 

P.s. do explain things to me like to an idiot. I prefer being portraited as dumb and step by step fix it than being treated like I know something I don't know.

 

 

 

 

 

If you want a, more or less, detailed description of dealing with CTDs go to my blog (link is found in my signature below). The shosrter answer/question is, have you downloaded the stability tools. You may not have had a problem with that mod per se. You may have simply tipped past the limit that your computer could handle. That's why people smarter than I am created the various stability tools. If you are only interested in them you can find them in the same place as the entire discussion on CTD. My blog has links to each of the tools I recommend.

My computer automatically sets skyrim settings to ultra-high and it isn't really that old. (idk if it proves anything tbf). Oh and I used to have around 50 mods and the game was fine a few months ago. Now it's causing problems. Btw. I am trying to understand this blog of yours and I found problems. For instance, it says to go to mod page etc. well the "Thieves Guild Reborn" mod has been taken off the nexus. It says that when I go to mod link via Vortex. Also when I try to disable some mods I don't need any more game is having a problem saying I will cause problems with save file ( I mean like usefull dogs mod)

 

A mod that is no longer supported is a good one to remove from your load order.

 

When you remove mods during a playthrough it pays to clean your save. The tool that I recommend is ReSaver and is found as part of Fallrim Tools found here:

Okay so I am not very good at fixing my games by messing with files so I really need help to not mess things up more:

 

I started playing Skyrim this summer ( not SE) and I installed Vortex for my mods. (I have around 43 atm).

The game was going fine. The problems began in December.
