Everytime I get anywhere near the river it closes on me. Currently coming from the mine headed to the dragon stones. Once I reach that cross way (the from helgan,dragonstones,to river wood) It crashes no matter what way I go about it. Is my load order incorrect? I have een using boss for it. Also do I need some compatibility patches at all? Any info would e awesome.

Already tried an older/different save game? Once my game crashed all the time around Whiterun/Riverwood, loading an older save game fixed it for me.

Never mind I still get crashes all the time. I think It may be corrupt. So I guess I will just have to start a new.

Are you possibly using the mod Places: Oakwood?

 

This mod has 2 versions. One for vanilla skyrim, one for Hearthfire. Using the wrong one leads to CTDs in that exact area.

 

If you use Hearthfire, make sure to get the Hearthfire version.

 

EDIT: My bad, just saw you posted a mod list.

 

But sounds very similar. :/ I don't know all the mods you're using. Could another one alter cells in the vacinity of your crash? Better Villages, maybe? At this point I can only suggest disabling all mods and adding them back in one by one in priority order until you hit the culprit and the game crashes again.

yeah, Thakns though.

 

I did try another character, made an argonian and set him up with the brother hood. Via alternate start mod, and as soon as the sanctity loads up it crashes.
