SHAD0WC0BRA
Hey there everyone. For some reason, in my game, Vendortron is selling the Riot Shotgun for over 30,000 caps. I checked in FNVEdit and the only mod I have that edits the Riot Shotgun is not changing its value (it's a mod that I created which adds several mods for the Riot Shotgun, but again, it does not edit its value, and there are two mods which are valued approximately 1900 caps each). This is quite strange. Does anyone know what might be going on?
Mktavish
I'd guess that is something to do with the lvled item , and where you nested it inside of other lvled items. Click the "Preview Calculated Result" And see what that says / edit it ... checking lvled items that it is nested in also ... Honestly I am just taking a stab in the dark here , lvled items have me a bit perplexed. Also there may be a faction reaction happening , that then calculates it to charge you more based on your game save. Not sure how you would adjust that geck side though ? SHAD0WC0BRA
Thanks for your reply, but I'm starting to think it might have something to do with installing or uninstalling a "replacer" mod. I had recently uninstalled a replacer for the Riot Shotgun (so I could make weapon mods for it, now that I know how to do that), and I recently created/installed a replacer for the Marksman Carbine that also caused an abnormally high value item in the Vendortron. It seems to resolve when the vendor restocks. It is weird though.
dubiousintent
Whenever I see number errors reported as "over 30,000" anything, the first suspect that jumps to mind is a "variable declaration mismatch" problem. (See the GECKWiki article on "Declaring Variables" and "Int".) How did you define the variable you use for the "value" of the weapon (with mods)? If you are using a variable defined by the mod you are editing, double check how it is defined. -Dubious-
