lsartori Posted November 25, 2012 Share Posted November 25, 2012 I have recently acquired and installed version 1.8.151.0.7 of Skyrim in this notebook HP Pavilion DV6-2155dx Notebook with core i3 with 4gb windows 7 Intel graphics media accelerator HD No mods, every driver of the notebook updated. lsartori Posted November 25, 2012 Author Share Posted November 25, 2012 I have asked the same question in other forums, and I was informed that notebooks with Intel HD worked fine with Skyrim. All of them seem to have some old version of the game, with patch 1.8, which is not my case. The game has installed Directx 9.0c but I have version 11 (windows 7) working fine. I've read that the game is not directx 11, but I don´t think it'd be a problem. I couldn't find anything about Skyrim not working with those cards, they always say the manufactor can work the problems out with the games. My Skyrim version is the latest, and I can´t install the old ones, so I'm stuck on this.Thanks for any help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Deleted3507349User Posted November 25, 2012 Share Posted November 25, 2012 (edited) One thing you might try is setting your graphics to 'Low' in the launcher. If that fixes things, keep trying higher settings until your machine says "nu-UH". At any rate, I believe the issue you're experiencing is called 'artifacting'. lsartori Posted November 25, 2012 Author Share Posted November 25, 2012 Tkx Digitaltruker, I've already tried low resolution, 4:3 and 800x600, and the problem persists. I've read about artifacting (tkx for that also) but most problems are just glimpses in the middle of the game, my problem shows from the very beginning, impossible to even start the game.
