I just got some mods and now Skyrim won't start?

One you should always do in these kinds of problem is debugging. Disable all your mods and then re-enable them one by one and see if skyrim starts. Yes, it's a pretty long and boring thing to do but mehh. If you want to speed up the process a bit, uncheck the 'close mod manager at start' or something like that. Also you can disable the bethesda logo at startup but right now I can't remember how ...

Or maybe you can re-enable 2 or 3 mods at a time and if skyrim doesn't start, you know that one of those 2 or 3 is screwed.

  • 7 months later...

Yeah I've noticed that dragons has seem serious bugs like not automatically loading your latest save after death (which is insanely often with THAT mod) and that I can't always unsheathe my weapons. I tried uninstalling all mods but I think the damage was done so complete uninstall and debugging for the next few hours. There goes my Sunday.
