hey guys, I am doing this weapon as many other asked for it, also, many people wants me to start doing non-replacers, is anyone willing to help me doing so? I really suck at coding, so if anyone wants to help me putting it in game as a non replacer, it will be much appreciated.

I am currently adding a new weapon to the game and have been reasonably successful, my weapon is large and complex but it shows up in game. Some of the textures are not working but that is mostly due to the fact that this weapon is complex and has so many textures. I will fix the problem soon though. Anyway I could get a weapon into the game and even make a custom icon for it. If you have the texture and mesh you could email them to me and I could have the mod made and sent back to you in less than a week! If there are more than 2 textures it will run into the same problem as my previous gun and will take longer. I could even pack the texture and mesh into a bsa.

its just one texture, but I need to finish it first, here are some preview shots

it is too small right now, but I need to fit it in the model hands, so I am thinking on how to enlarge it right now.

Well, personally I'd say it can't hurt to try your hand at hex-editing so you don't depend on anyone else. It's easy, really. The latest FOMM elliminates the need for most of the hex editing I've described before, and really all it takes is changing form Ids and paths.

Well, except for the MODS entry in STAT, but you could use the trick I've mentioned before: just don't use 1stPerson textures at all, and you can get away with just putting "00 00 00 00" there. You can even pass it as an "I wanted it to look good in all views" thing, if you're perverse ;)

I also assume you just set the texture paths in NIFskope, so the step of hex editing the .nif isn't necessary either.

But if you can't be bothered, sure, I can pack it for you. It's mostly a mindless mechanical thing for me by now :P
