Gray Neck

For some reason, all my female player characters created at the start of the game have a hideous gray neck and I haven't been able to find anything to address this issue. Modding Skyrim is an all new experience for me, so I'm not really sure if I'm giving ya'll all the necessary information, but here's what I've got....Any help fixing this would really be appreciated.

Turning off Imaginator did nothing, but I've figured it out. It's shadows from her hair. If I change to hairstyles that leave the neck region largely bare, it's fine. Unless there is a way to turn off hair shadowing, I'm just going to have to find her a different hairstyle. oh well.

Facelight *might help with that.

Also, with imaginator, reducing contrast slightly and increasing brightness slightly might help. A saturation boost will help to ameliorate the washed out look that lower contrast & higher brightness can cause.

Imaginator is already set to boost saturation +10. I haven't touched the brightness/contrast tho so I will try that. As for facelight, I got it and it's all well and good I suppose, but I don't know now to target myself....sooooo....Seriously, I don't get why this is doing this at all. Although my pc isn't NASA approved or anything like that, the specs are good. I can play the game with a steady 60 fps with everything set on the ultra values. Everyone's screenshots of characters made with CBBE and BS all look great, but mine looks like the butt end of ugly on a mule. All I want is skin textures without dirt and decent hair. All the CBBE and body slide stuff doesn't mean a thing to me. I tend to like attrractive, but realistic characters....the enormous boobs, butts, and half-naked women running around isn't my thing. I don't fault anyone who wants that, but all I want is no dirty bodies...including the neck. lol If someone could kindly tell me of a way to get without all the other stuff, that would be great.

My specs:

Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

CPU
Intel Core i5 @ 2.90GHz 41 °C
Coffee Lake 14nm Technology

RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1066MHz (15-15-15-36)

Motherboard
Micro-Star International Co. Ltd. MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC (MS-7B17) (U3E1) 35 °C

Graphics
ONA18HO015 (1920x1080@60Hz)
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (ASUStek Computer Inc) 40 °C

You can also see video of it in the face generation thingy.....the neck is just all bunked up, the skintones don't match and there some kind weird shimmer that's always there, but to a lesser degree with certain hairstyles.

I got it fixed and I have a pic of it, but I can't for the life of me get it to take my link to it on imgur. It keeps telling me I can't post that extension on this site....it's a jpg. Oh well.

Facelight for the player:

Check your spells. There should be one called "facelight". (afaik there are four in all added by facelight on installation)

equip it and use it. Facelight will be applied to you.

stop casting. (if for no other reason so you can see the front of your player)

AFAIK, It (the facelight lighting) will stay on until you fire facelight again to toggle it off.

One other thing you could do is adjust the character's "under chin" coloration. I *think there's a setting for that or some sort of under chin shadow.
