.nif file invisible in Creation Kit

Good morning, good day and good evening,

I'm trying to import a custom head mesh into the game as a 'helmet', but I am having some problems when loading it into the CK. The model shows up perfectly in NIFSkope, but when loaded up in the CK, nothing. In the CK log i get two errors: 'TEXTURES: example.nif : texture is missing an environment map' and 'has no tangentspace and is not using modelspace normals and will not render'. When I equip the 'helmet' on my character in game, the head disappears and I am left with a headless body.

I do not know how to resolve these errors, and so I turn to you in hope of some help. If someone has any idea what I may be doing wrong or can clue me in on something I've been missing, I'd be super grateful. Here's a link to the nif file if someone wants to take a look:

I hope this is the appropriate forum for this. If not I would appreciate a link to a more fitting board.

Thanks!

I opened the link in Nifskope, but of course I couldn't see the textures, since the nif was pointing to texture files that I don't have. I find it hard to work out what may be wrong, because I can't see the texture files.

As for the 'tangent space' issue, this is a complete shot in the dark, but try using NIF Optimizer. I only say this because I used it on a nif that wouldn't load/render properly and it sorted the tangent space issues for me, so that it worked fine, both in CK and in-game.

in that particular instance, the model rendered in Nifskope but without the correct textures. In-game, it showed up as a complete mess. (I was trying to fix this nif for someone else. Nif Optimizer plus a bit of tweaking of the esp sorted the issue).

Hope that helps... it's certainly worth a shot. That's one hell of a good tool!

Yes I can see how that would make it difficult, heh. Would it help if I upload a folder with the textures?

I will for sure give NIF optimizer a shot!

Otherwise I'm kinda at a loss here. Might just try to copy the look in RaceMenu

Edit: No luck with NIF Optimizer sadly... If it helps, here's a link to the texture folder:
