samv96UK Posted November 27, 2012 Share Posted November 27, 2012 Hi there, I'm having a small problem with the statics LOD generation in the CK for a worldspace. I've generated LOD for worldspaces several times before, so I know what I'm doing, however something's not right this time. It's a world I've generated the LOD for this worldspace before, but I've made changes to it, so it needs to be done again. Trees are generating fine, exactly how they should be, but when I move on to static generation it goes wrong. I have my worldspace selected (in the world LOD window) with the default settings and 'Static Objects' checked. I click generate, but I get this: http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/9283/world1w.png As some of you who have generated LOD before may know, neither of these files are required to generate the world LOD (At least, I've never needed them). This is what the common\Source\TGATextures\architecture\whiterun folder has always been like for me: http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/793/world2yw.png But just for the sake of it, I decided to extract the textures and DDS>TGA them then put them in the folder, as you can see: http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/6999/world3y.png But I still get an error: http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/1630/world4u.png Then if I place WRSlate02.tga in the folder, it asks me for WRSlate02.tga_n. Then if I put that in the folder it asks me for WRStoneMortar01.tga and WRStoneMortar01_n.tga. Then WRCityWall01.tga and WRCityWall01_n.tga. acidzebra Posted November 27, 2012 Share Posted November 27, 2012 Why not just extract the whole whiterun architecture folder and run nconvert to turn them into tga files? Looks like you added a whiterun building - or the CK thinks you did (check with tes5edit) and those do have multiple textures. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
samv96UK Posted November 27, 2012 Author Share Posted November 27, 2012 I've added several of the Whiterun textures... and now it's asking me for Riften textures. I'm going to go through some of the Riften ones I need, but If it doesn't work I can't go through hundreds of textures just to generate the LOD. acidzebra Posted November 27, 2012 Share Posted November 27, 2012 I'd seriously consider having a look with tes5edit to see if you or the CK did something odd.
