mrpyromania
Ulid brought his head back up from over the railing of the boat. He wiped bile of his mouth with the back of his hand. The gentle rolling of the boat made him feel quesy all over again, and he quickly bent his head back over. After his head came back up,he muttered " I hate boats...". He steped queasily across the deck, not at all in his regular deadly grace. He eyed Volrath with a wicked grin, knowing that he provided an example that any sort of power was precarious in the Vampire society. He considered gloating, but Ulid was not sure whether he could open his mouth without something besides speech coming out. He wandered about deck, truly bored with the sea. He spotted Xiton going into his cabin, and scolwed at his back. The pace he set had taken a toll on the total numbers of the vampires. He eyed the moon lazily, thinking of the fun he would soon have. Another reason why Ulid didn't like the sea hit him. The sea air washes away all scents. Fear, power, greed. Too him, every vampire became alike. MDRud216
The sails had ripped, many times... Xiton was now on his third boat, his previous two being slowely buried in sediment on the sea floor. It was a massive storm that had swept across the seas two nights before, no casulties but boats which left several of the remaining ones crowded with wet vampires. In a day or so the cattle would run out, hundreds of bodies already littered the sea for miles in the wake of the vampire fleet. It would not be hard for someone daring to follow their corpse- marked path. Thousandsof miles to the north and east The mighty Kin' Sharion had once again reminded the inhabitants of his status: General. The forges were heated and hundreds of Gaurdains oversaw the crafting of their most sacred weapon, the ones they would soon use to cleave the heads of the Undead. Shadow of the Fallen
OOC: Damn straight. IC:"How is progress, Gerralius?" "Excellent, Elder, things are progressing ahead of schedule." Kin'sharion glanced at his Senior Officer in charge of equipment, "very good, how soon will we be ready to leave?" "We are still estimating, but as far as we know, things will be ready sooner then we expected." "Good, I trust everyone else is prepared?" "Your cabinet has already loaded their belongings onto the ships, and will be ready to set sail soon. Is there something else you wish?" "Hmm..." Kin'sharion had to ponder the question for a time, "not in particular, see that training is ended today, as planned, and the Guardians get everything loaded onto the boats as it is made ready. I want to be on my way there as soon as every Guardian is properly equiped." "Yes, m'lord, it shall be as you say." Kin'sharion was surprised they hadn't already finnished at the rate they were moving, but he was more surprised to learn that some of his Gaurdians had been ill equiped for battle... Newer genorations, it seems, are a bit sluggish on the draw. They needed a bit more motivation at times. War was motivation enough, as far as he was concerned. Still, his mind wandered to other things, their battle plans were a bit incomprehensive as it stood, something few Gaurdains of his level could bear. Yet, he liked to see what was really there before he fully decided his battle plans. He had still heard no word on the preparations at their destination, but he was hopefull that the humans could accomplish things in a timely manner. Their survival depended on it. Apparently, the number of enemy vampires had been bolstered recently, an incentive for the tactic he was planning to use. Kin'sharion chuckled as he thought about it. He was rather surprised that he hadn't thought of something so simple before, but it would have made little difference. Often, the vampires would fall for the same tactic twice simply because of their lack of orginization and their insolence. As much as they would deny it, they relied on wieght of numbers more than anything else, and a well planned strategey could force them on the defensive, and eventually into dead retreat. His mind wandered back to the present. With a sigh he looked back out over the balcony at the forges below. Guardians covered every inch of a gargantuan room, set evenly with blazing forges that the worlds finest blacksmiths used day in and day out. Like clockwork, they produced weapons that could split a hair on a mans head down to the scalp, while outside they trained warriors that could do just that and stop on a dime, leaving the the scalp itself untouched. Yes... The Gaurdians were indeed the greatest warriors the world had ever known...
MDRud216
A long caravan now wound its way through the ashy mountains, many had already arrived at the shores, yet many had yet to leave. From above it would have seemed an endless black snake making its way from the mountain's huge gate to the shores were it dispersed along the shore. It would take hundreds of ships to get the Gaurdian army to Faortinber. Shadow I want things in this rp picked up again, we need to know somehow exactly how large of a force you are taking, supplies, a route, pretty much everything because all i supply are sttings and descriptions. Your destiny awaits, and you will find that this rp has more surprises and battle in store if we can keep it going /end motivational speech
Shadow of the Fallen
OOC: So convenient to pin it on me, eh? Alright. Hmm... As for numbers, I have forgotten what the estimate of the Vampire army was, but if they have, say, 30,000 men... I will take 20,000. 60,000; 40,000... In short, 2/3 of whatever the vampire army has, or the maximum I can take as far as that goes. I would leave no less then 5,000 at the keep, BARE MINIMUM, but there is going to be less then 10,000 or so remaining, based on the 2/3 rule, then let me know and I will adjust accordingly. As for strategy, I am going to fortify myself using the town and the castle. I'll send you the details on that via PM.
