Zorkaz Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 The issue:I have a sound marker that plays a long lasting sound (Music)When I jump into the water and dive the sound stops.After getting out of the water the sound won't resume. The question or challenge:What could be the attempt to resume the sound or at least start it from the beginning. I'm thinking about making a huge trigger box hovering above the water. Since this is a unique small worldspace it might work. Still any better ideas?
niston Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 I'm not sure why it stops playing entirely. Using sound markers myself for the forest grove water lock mod, and when I dive into the lock chamber, some of them go silent (I think there's a flag somewhere that determines if a sound can be heard underwater) but as I resurface, they are still there and playing.
Zorkaz Posted February 21, 2020 Author Posted February 21, 2020 I guess I forgot to mention that mine's not a loop sound.Also the sound marker is not set to repeat.
Zorkaz Posted February 22, 2020 Author Posted February 22, 2020 After making a sound quest (stage 10 and 20)and making the if statements rely on the quest stage the problem dissappeared.. Well at least it works whyever Edit: Oh yeah and I made the sound into the "SOMUIDefault" category. That's what worked.
