The issue:

I have a sound marker that plays a long lasting sound (Music)

When I jump into the water and dive the sound stops.

After getting out of the water the sound won't resume.

 

The question or challenge:

What could be the attempt to resume the sound or at least start it from the beginning. I'm thinking about making a huge trigger box hovering above the water. Since this is a unique small worldspace it might work.

 

 

Still any better ideas?

I'm not sure why it stops playing entirely. Using sound markers myself for the forest grove water lock mod, and when I dive into the lock chamber, some of them go silent (I think there's a flag somewhere that determines if a sound can be heard underwater) but as I resurface, they are still there and playing.

After making a sound quest (stage 10 and 20)

and making the if statements rely on the quest stage the problem dissappeared.. Well at least it works whyever

 

Edit: Oh yeah and I made the sound into the "SOMUIDefault" category. That's what worked.
