Quick question about mod manager load order

When i "manually" download a mod and put it in the skyrim data folder and etc myself, it shows up on mod manager under "plugins" and i can easily change that load order. However, when I download a mod with the mod manager and install it with mod manager and all that, I cant find a way to change the order, it stays alphabetical. Does it automatically put them in the order they need to be in? or is there something I need to do?

If you have activated a mod (In the mod manager, highlight the mod, then click on the green arrow icon thing to the left) and it does not then show up in the plugins tab, then it is probably a texture mod that has no esp.

Texture mods without .esps load, as I understand it, in the order they are downloaded. So, for example, you download two mods that affect eyes, the last one you download will overwrite the first (although you can specify which files are overwritten during the download).
