REALbp
Just invest in Crazy Wolfgang the junk vendor to the maximum available. He has 75 repair skill. BTW, how do you get the "You gotta shoot 'em in the head!" quest? I've been everywhere including underworld and it's never offered to me.He actually has a repair of 85 once you invest in him. It's really the only good thing about him, for me anyways, besides whatever caps he has. The random junk he offers is of no use to me, given my locker filled with literally hundreds of medical braces and vacuums and toy cars and whatever else you need to make custom weapons. I've played a number of different toons (5) and invested in all 4 traders in each game. Crazy's repair skill has top'd out at 70, 75, and 80 for me. I've never seen a 85. I'm guessing that his repair skill maxes dependant on some other factor. That said, the T-51, once stuck at Crazy's top repiar durability, tends to be just = to a fully repaired tesla; as far as DR is concerned.
grumbler
how do you invest in business? Go to Canterbury Commons, talk to Uncle Roe, ask about Caravans. You can invest twice in each trader. The first time costs you 200 caps, and gets a modest upgrade to inventory and an increase in cash to buy from you (but no repair boost, I don't think). The second costs you 500 caps and gets you an even better inventory, an bigger purchase-from-you limit, and a repair boost. When you talk to traders you have invested in, occasionally they will give you stuff as a repayment on your investment. Not usually stuff you actually want, but you can sell it back immediately for some caps if you want. Crazy Wolfgang (who should have been named Crazy Ivan, IMO) always seems to die in my games, though I am only on my fourth toon. I find his dead brahmin outside CC, and his body in a SM lair where a captive is. Uncle Roe agrees with me, as at some point in each game he mentions that he hasn't heard from CW in some time. Monolithic0117
I don't know if the T-51B's incapability to be repaired by any other armor is deliberate, or simply accidental. Perhaps this will be fixed in a future patch, if the latter is the cause. At any rate, the fix earlier mentioned in the first page is the best option for users of the T-51B.
